.During 1991 Dennis Swager and Mike Uland formed Swager & Associates, Ltd., as an oil and gas consulting business to supply geologic, engineering and operations management services to Illinois Basin operators. Michael McLear, Michael Scaggs and Rick Phillips joined the company as working owners shortly thereafter. As equity investment opportunities arose, forming Team Energy during 1993 with identical ownership as the affiliated original consulting company filled the need for an operating company. Team has since redeemed the interests of Messrs, Scaggs and McLear, and the ownership of the two companies remains identical today.

Team Energy was chartered to own and operate oil and gas properties. Team is a bonded operator and currently is active in the states of Illinois and Indiana. The majority of Team's production is in Posey and Gibson counties, Indiana, with substantial holding in Lawrence County, Illinois. The initial plan for Team was to acquire producing properties with significant development potential thereby building a significant reserve base. The next step was to fully develop all the economic reserves, pay off the debt and use these reserves to acquire additional properties and begin to invest in quality exploration deals. By integrating the disciplines of geology, engineering and production management, Team has realized significant growth in its short history, but historically low oil prices have slowed the growth.

Team currently has 18 full-time employees and 15 contract associates who operate approximately 200 active oil wells producing 600 to 750 GBOPD as well as maintaining the operations of the consulting company. The company strives to proactively comply with all regulatory agency requirements and is a growth-oriented company focused on financial success for its partners, clients, employees and shareholders.
